![]() Players can change camera angles while using their weapons by pressing "V". To reload, a player should press "R", or left-click when the gun is empty. When a player has no more rounds in the chamber, the text box border will turn black and you will have to reload in order to use the gun again. Every time you shoot, the number will go down. In the bottom right, a player will be able to see the number of rounds in the gun. These weapons include the ones listed in the above paragraph. Weapons which fire bullets have bullet drop, meaning the bullet will lower in height the further it travels. These weapons include, but are not limited to, the Rifle, Uzi, Pistol, Revolver, Rocket Launcher, Turret from the SWAT Van and Celestial along with the Missiles on the Black Hawk and Jet. ![]() This means that the player sometimes has to adjust their shot and timing to shoot moving or long-range targets. Most weapons have bullet/projectile velocity, meaning the bullet, rocket, or missile will take some time to travel until it hits its target. Bullets will also make a metallic sound when fired upon a metal object and a unique sound when firing into a body of water. They used to ricochet off of surfaces, but as of the City/Weapons Update, they now create bullet holes. ![]() They can also pick up a dropped pistol from a dead Police officer killed by a Prisoner or Criminal.Īll bullet-firing will create bullet holes. Pistols can be obtained by pickpocketing Police Officers, but this is uncommon and risky, as players have a very high chance of getting arrested by the Police officer. This means that the Forcefield Launcher is usually not considered a weapon, since it heals and protects players, instead of damaging them. Items that negatively impact a player’s health and can be used more than once are considered as a weapon. A Pistol used to be found inside the Bounty Bay Airport Control Tower as well. Before the Fall 2020 Update, several weapons spawns were removed from the Bounty Island, Cheater Island, Bank, and the Museum. If you're unhappy with performance with a new spring alone, then you could always remove the AR as a last measure.Weapons can be found in the Rising City Gun Shop, Rising City Criminal Base, Crater City Gun Shop, Mountainside Town Gun Shop, Rising City Police Station, Prison Gun Shop, Prison Police Station, Volcano Criminal Base, Security Office, and the Military Base. ![]() To anyone modding their Nerf I recommend tracking down a larger spring that suits your blaster, before you remove the AR. I've just upgraded my Nerf with a more powerful spring, and I'm glad I left the 'air restrictor' in place - even with a spring that's nearly twice as strong (in pressure) as the last, the piston brake still helps slow down the piston after the dart has fired. Adding more air-pressure while the dart is in-flight down the barrel will probably mess with the dart's trajectory, and may be why people see significantly more 'spread' with AR-removed Nerf guns. ![]() I'm only guessing here, but it might actually help with accuracy too, if it stops the piston from pushing out extra air once the dart has already started moving down the barrel. I'm having trouble posting replies due to CAPTCHA issues, I was trying to reply to Arx: I agree with Arx, so many people recommend removing the "air restrictor", but it's there to protect the piston - not to limit the speed of the projectile! A more accurate name would be "piston brake", "anti-hammering valve", or similar. ![]()
